To all the beautiful people

Keep singing. Some day your voice will quit you. Keep dancing. Some day your legs won't work. Keep loving, and yes...your heart will break, but it's worth it. Do something dangerous everyday. Stay alert. Stay smart. Read a great book. Write more. You have something to offer. Offer it. Smile at someone, they will smile back. It's a reflex that feels good. Tell a joke. Tell someone that you love them. Mean it. John Lennon was right you know. So was Thomas Wolfe. It doesn't matter. Create a moment to appreciate yourself. Then give it to someone else. Take everything precious that you can, double it, give it back again. You get one roll on this rock, and the minutes don't move backwards. Breathe. Feel it. Kiss. Mean it. Hold onto someone, know that they won't always be there, and realize what is happening at that moment. Mark it in your brain as the greatest thing you'll ever own. You are all the beautiful people, and the only ugly is that which we create, and let linger. I do now, and always will....
